Sales Forecasting / Demand Planner (Top Company)

£20,000 - £30,000


We’re delighted to partnered with an industry giant, the UK's leading Sales and Marketing company, for the recruitment of a Sales Forecasting or Demand Planner. The organisation has been continuously growing, while working with some of the UK's biggest brands. The organisation places immense value on their staff, aiming to develop them, while also providing incentives to their staff.
This position is will be mainly Working in the house, with an average of around 4-days a week being spent at home. The other 1-day will be spent in the office just outside of Belfast City Centre. The organisation offers Agile working meaning the prosperous candidate can choose to work any hours between the time frame of 8.00am - 6.00pm (e.g 8.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 5.00pm).
Initially this will be an 18-month contract, with a high likelihood of permanency during the contract or at the end.

£25,000 - £28,000 + great Benefits/ Agile Working/ Incentives/ Working in the house + more

You will be the process owner for forecasting and IBP practices, as well as the subject matter expert for Demand Management.
Lead Demand Planning Process whilst driving continuous improvement. Supervise Demand planning and demand management activities.
Own/Manage the Demand Planning process as part of the overall Demand Planning cycle of Meetings.
   » Continue to drive a consistent approach and continued adoption of the monthly IBP process across all Brand owner Business Unit teams
   » Ensure information known by the sales team that would impact base forecasts (e.g.EDLP, distribution gains) is communicated to the demand planner for incorporation into the forecast.Challenge appropriately Sales teams to improve month on month forecast accuracy and share significant customer insight to support purchasing decisions.
   » Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
   » Ensure inputs from marketing, sales, finance and others are incorporated into the forecast

The Ideal Person
   » 2+ years’ practice within Demand Planning or Forecasting, preferably with an FMCG background.
   » Highly numerate with strong Excel expertise
   » Good communication expertise, with capability to build relationships and challenge if required
   » expertise of SAP would be desirable
