Within this exciting team there are significant opportunities for QA / Test Engineer / Test Analyst professionals.
Required across all levels of function is the capability to understand customer needs, partner with developers, analysts, and tech leads across the delivery team to identify test scenarios and propose appropriate technical solutions. Ensure that all of the software used on global merchant acquiring platform is operating according to the significant specification. Develop Automation, perform System testing and drive quality assurance of code and configuration. Document test activities, log defects and ensure that re-testing takes place to confirm that problems encountered have been resolved. Work in conformity with testing standards developed in-house and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards and automation.
Key Responsibilities include:
» Develop and agree test plans with BAs and Software Development engineers.
» Write test cases in Xray/Jira, which support the test plan and identify specifically what needs to be tested.
» Review Requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and significant feedback.
» Play a central function in adding to their broad automation capabilities in testing their core acquiring platform.
» practice in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
» Log issues in Jira, reporting the issue to the developers and taking full ownership and accountcapability following up to ensure that corrective action was taken.
» Have practice of working in Agile/Scrum development process
» 4-10 years software testing practice all over all phases of a software testing cycle
» Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering or comparable fields
» Automation & Scripting expertise, Python - Pytest, Allure, capability to create bespoke testing frameworks & tools.
» Good expertise of databases and SQL expertise highly desired.
» expertise of SDLC tools, Jenkins, Rundeck, GIT source control.
» Well trained in the use of JIRA, XRAY, Selenium, Cucumber etc.
» Quality focused with strong attention to detail
» Self-motivated with capability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
» practiced with Atlassian Toolset (JIRA)
