Post Specific Related Information: To be responsible for the management care and treatment of service user, to ensure that the optimum standard of care is provided within the designated areas of responsibility. The primary function of the Clinical Nurse/Midwife Manager 1 will be one of clinical and professional leadership abilities and development in the nursing/ midwifery team, including development of nursing/ midwifery staff by means of in-service training, orientation of new staff and arranging clinical practice and supervision of student nurses and midwives when appropriate.
