VANRATH is exclusively partnering with one of newest technology start ups in Belfast, with the key appointment of HR Director.
The HR Director will be the first Human Resource related appointment for the business globally and as such will supervise the implementation of the function to incorporate UK, Europe and US.
The company in question has exciting growth plans for Belfast, with a technology centre of excellence currently underway, and plans to house a number of support related functions in Belfast also.
The function offers a clean slate and the support to build a best in class people service that will ensure the success of the organisation short, medium and long term.

The function
   » Managing orientation and on-boarding for all new employees globally
   » Be the local expert providing hands on advice and support in region
   » Coordinating all aspects of recruitment process with hiring managers
   » Partnering with managers to understand and resolve local issues, reducing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
   » Working with the business to develop proactive solutions to recurring team challenges
   » Road managing global HR project work and roll-out of HR initiatives, employee relations and policies
   » Supporting processes through the employee life cycle including performance development, organisational change and conduct issues
   » Delivering training to support manager development
   » Completing regular audits and any necessary admin
   » Reviewing HR processes and suggesting changes to improve efficiency and scalcapability ensuring best practice is deployed at all times
   » Managing international external HR support suppliers
The Person
   » 5+ years in a Senior HR function, preferably with international reach and responsibility
   » A broad knowledge and knowledge of UK & NI employment legislation, with US or European legislation exposure an added advantage
   » Prior practice of business scaling, with technology sector practice an added advantage
   » Comfortable working with a remote team
   » Able to productively challenge and influence other teams and managers
   » Able to demonstrate a commercial approach to managing HR issues
