This is a stand alone position at this time and will manage the full cycle accounting/finance function for the organization. The prosperous candidate will not only manage the day to day, but work strategically for the organization as well - cash flow management, forecast industry trends, capture new opportunities and advise on large scale inventory decisions. The main responsibilities are: •Manage all accounts receivable, payables, payroll, employee benefits, credit, collection, bank reconciliation, cash management, and inter-company functions. •Prepare the annual budget by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans and quarterly forecasting process. •Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly reporting to management •Manage inventory reconciliation •Cash flow management, forecast industry trends, capture new opportunities and advise on large scale inventory decisions. •Prepare and file monthly State Sales & Use Tax Returns, and advise/assist on the Corporate earnings Tax Return (together with tax advisor) and all other tax-related issues. •Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions. •leadership abilities or involvement in ad-hoc requests for both financial data and analysis, as well as both leading and participating in departmental groups to drive financial and operational improvements.
