PFHTechnology Group is hiring a Head of Project Management Office. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation and team at the heart of the coordination and management of all professional services and project activities.
You should be practiced in leading and managing complex Information technology project delivery within a structured methodology, ideally within an ICT professional services organisation.

The primary functions and responsibilities of the Project Management Office are:
   » To provide governance, structure and repeatable processes to the planning, scheduling and execution of all PFH Projects and Professional Services activities.
   » To provide a single-point-of-contact for all projects and Professional Services activities.
   » To provide a central management system for reporting.
   » To drive service delivery quality assurance.

tasks & The main responsibilities are:
   » Member of PFH Operations leadership abilities team.
   » Function lead / Line Manager.
   » Provide and manage structures and processes to unify all professional services and project delivery activities.
   » Develop and maintain project management methodologies, standards and tools.
   » Cross-professional services resource scheduling & coordination.
   » Project governance and sponsorship.
   » Ensure PMO meets performance targets.
   » Project Management Quality Assurance.
   » Commercial lead of project delivery.
   » Project Management business development and pre-sales.
   » Represents the business interests of all project.
   » Provide visible management support for PMO staff and to customers.
   » Resolve conflicts.
   » Provide high-level direction
   » Provide authority to change / overruns.
   » Steer projects, remove obstacles, manage the critical success factors and remediate project shortfalls.
   » Team leadership abilities & Development: Mentor, coach and effectively transfer skills to others.
   » Facilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution: Build a strong network and relationships at executive levels with technology and solutions, customers and vendor groups.

Skills & practice Required
   » Proven track record in project management office leadership abilities.
   » Personal track record in complex Information technology project management.
   » Expert-level expertise of project and change management and connected methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches.
   » Strategic Thinking: capability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture.
   » Work to exceed client expectations by delivering a high quality service.
   » Commercial acumen - Budget, cost and profitcapability management.
   » ICT industry practice.
   » Very strong inter-personal and organisational skills.
   » Ambitious - high level work ethic.
   » Resilience and resourcefulness
   » Proven staff leadership abilities and development.
   » Attention to detail.
   » Minimum of 5 years' practice working in a similar function.
   » Educated to Degree Level
   » Project Management methodology certification(s)
