The Body Shop Parts Advisor is responsibleforprovide guidance and assistanceon the selection and procurement of required parts per the manufactureguidelines.
   » Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
   » Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line
   » Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information
   » Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
   » Pull and fill orders from stock
   » Notify body shop parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
   » Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
   » Notify all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received
   » Pull orders for delivery to the parts department, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number
   » Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily
   » Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required
   » Assist outside sales representatives with their orders
   » Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
   » Excellent communication and customer service expertise, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanor
   » capability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
   » Strong computer & phone expertise (Internet, MS Outlook) is a must
   » capability to speak multiple languages is always a plus
   » Previous automotive parts practice or military equivalent practice preferred
   » Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & drug test)
   » Able to lift 50 lbs
