Allied Universal is currently seeking a Full Time Executive Driver to work at a Pharmaceutical Company in Boston, MA

Ideal candidate should possess the following:
Exceptional customer service provider
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
3 years of driving or Chaffeur practice
Must have great communication expertise, both written and verbal

Wage: $23.00/hr.

The Executive/Personal Chauffeur is primarily responsible for the safe and secure transportation of the corporation's senior executives on a everyday basis. Driver will take full responsibility of their trips upon notification including to consult maps or navigation devices for optimal routes, performing pre-trip runs to insure the best time, safest routes, etc. for executive travel. You will drive a company vehicle and will be responsible for knowing when maintenance is required and notifying the transportation manager (fuel level, oil change status, tire pressure, scheduled maintenance, washing & detail work, service appointments, knowledge of all your assigned vehicle mechanics etc.) You will exercise extreme confidentiality as you may be exposed to information that is not meant for your knowledge and that could have potentially serious ramifications to Vertex Pharmaceuticals if such information were to become public. Drivers will not fraternize with Executives, Contractors, or Employees. The Executive Driver will be in close quarters with Executives and their guests and as such the driver will exercise impeccable personal hygiene being free of body odor, clean shaven and in full Chauffeur attire for each ride. There may be downtime in-between trips, during such time Information technology is the expectation the Executive driver will maintain broad logs pertaining to their trips performed.

REQUIRED expertise :
   » Positive attitude
   » Strong communication expertise (both written and oral).
   » 3 years senior executive/personal chauffeur practice, broad knowledge of the Boston area is a must.
   » Must be able to comfortably drive in all weather conditions.
   » capability to exercise extreme confidentiality
   » Possess a sense of urgency and exceptional problem solving expertise
   » Impeccable personal hygiene and uniform appearance

KEY The main responsibilities are:
   » Responsible for the safe and efficient transport of Executive's in passenger SUV's, shuttles or vans.
   » Operating vehicle in a safe and lawful manner, while observing all traffic regulations.
   » Operating vehicle in a courteous manner, recognizing that the route traveled in heavily
congested and residential areas.
   » knowledge the different preferred routes of each individual Executive member
   » Follows scheduled routes, chartered routes or responds to requests from management for unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
   » Reporting all potential service & maintenance problems to the manager in a timely fashion & ensuring proper upkeep of vehicle.
   » Carry out other tasks as designated by Manager/s
   » Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior lighting, air conditioning or heating, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, etc. prior to driving the vehicles.
   » Ensures that both inside and outside of the vehicle are properly cleaned.
   » Responsible for keeping vehicles fueled.
   » Accurately completes driver trip sheet for each shift with information including driver number, vehicle number, number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, destinations, etc.
   » Accurately inputs trip information to monthly metrics worksheet
   » capability to work independently and under pressure while providing a high level of customer service.
   » Strict confidentiality and situational sensitivity a must
   » Proficient technical expertise utilizing MS Office Suite, GPS and iPhone.
   » General administrative and clerical support.
   » Ensure the physical safety and security of the facility by enforcing company policies and procedures.
   » Assist the Vertex Security Program

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND practice:
   » High school diploma or equivalent required.
   » Valid MA driver's license with a clean driving record is also a must
   » At least21 years of age.
   » practice/trained in safe driving/safety/personal protection, would be an asset.
   » Must prosperously complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
   » As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of required License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty.
   » Must display exceptional customer service and communication expertise.
   » Intermediate computer expertise to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
   » Candidate must be willing and available to work on an ?on call? basis periodically or as a part of weekly work assignments.
   » Prior practice in executive security assignments necessary

QUALIFICATIONS/Requirements:
   » Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
   » Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal expertise with capability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
   » Able to obtain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
   » As a condition of employment, employee must prosperously complete a background investigation and a drug screen in conformity with all federal, state, and local laws
   » Display exceptional customer service and communication expertise
   » Have intermediate computer expertise to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
   » capability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
   » Able to:
   » Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
   » Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
   » Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
   » Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of timeClosing
