Kelly Services are seeking General Operators with STENT practice ONLYfor Day and Evening Shift for our client Goodman Medical located in Mervue, Galway

Company
Our Client, is a progressive and dynamic manufacturer of medical devices, mainly concerned with the development and manufacture of cardiovascular devices and implants.

income and Contract
Starting rate €11.16 per hour, with 20% additional premium for Mid/ Evening shift
Temporary 8 month contract available, with the potential to be transferred to a fixed term contract with our Client
On prosperous completion of contract and transfer to our Clients contract you will be eligible forhealthcare benefit effective immediately

Day Shift
Start times: 6.45am/7am/7.15am Finish Mon to Thurs: 3pm/3.15pm/3.30pm
Finish Fridays: 1.45pm/2pm/2.15pm
Mid Shift
Start times: 3.15pm Finish Mon to Thurs: 11.45pm
Fridays: Start 2pm & Finish 8pm

Your New Job
   » Assembling medical devices, packaging and labelling
   » Working as part of a team to hit targets of orders for customers
   » Adhere to quality standards
Ideally you will have practice in the following:
   » Stent practice practice is ESSENTIAL
   » Microscope use
   » Clean room environment (GMP, gowning up)
   » Catheters and balloons assembly and inspection
   » Final inspection of medical device
Listing description
Your function & The main responsibilities are:
   » Working on a production line
   » Inspection of product at various steps of the assembly process - visual with the use of a camera or a microscope
   » Handling small and fragile products
   » Quality checks, packaging, labelling of products
   » Ensure that high quality standards are maintained, follow work procedures and specifications and adhere to GMP
   » Maintain a safe work environment
   » Strict compliance with all company's policies & procedures
   » Ensure area of work is maintained, at all times, to a high standard of cleanliness
   » Must work well within a Team environment and be supportive of work colleagues
   » Be flexible and willing to lgain all aspects of the assigned area / process
   » Using computerised equipment or machinery
   » Quality checks, packaging, labelling of products
   » Good Communication with managers and peers at all times
   » Completing documentation and ensuring compliance with required standards
   » capability to use Microscope
   » A keen eye for detail and the capability to work in a highly technical, challenging and changing environment.
Requirements:
   » Candidates must be educated to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent
   » Previous Medical Device/ Stent practice practice is ESSENTIAL
   » Have proven time keeping and attendance record
   » Fluent in written and spoken English
   » Able to lgain quickly and the capability to lgain technical information
   » Able to use manual equipment
   » Commitment and dedication are critical attributes for this function
