Title Supply Room Specialist / Preventative Maintenance
Job location: Sacramento

Description Summary:
Will be responsible for the proper receipt, storage, issuing and tracking of various store room supply items and parts. Also responsible for maintenance work planning including preventative maintenance, repairs, and regular machine services. Report to Maintenance Manager.

tasks:
1. Works safely at all times and complies with all plant and company safety programs. Actively participates in plant safety culture.
2. Helps to manage the issuance of stock items to employees using Mainsaver.
3. Receive items into the stock room. Checks goods received against the PO and the packing slip for accuracy.
4. Label or mark all items with the proper stock number and place in the correct locations.
5. Enter received items into the computer and maintain required records and files through Mainsaver.
6. Perform continuous cycle counts and inventory adjustments to insure quantity on hand accuracy.
7. Help to track various company tools.
8. Purchasing of store room items, tools, parts and equipment.
9. Work closely with maintenance manager and maintenance manager to plan routine and non-routine maintenance work. Generate schedules, work orders, and log and track work completed.
10. Prepare paperwork and packaging to have broken tools or other items sent out for repair or rework.
11. Restocks safety, health and GMP free issue supplies.
12. Participates in an annual physical inventory of supply room items and other packaging supplies.
13. Performs housekeeping tasks in and around the stock room on a regular basis.
14. Monitors consignment vendors and parts.
15. Plans preventive maintenance, repairs, and routine service activities.
16. Actively participates in CI projects and team events.
17. Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements Appropriate qualifications:
1. this function requires a technical orientation and/or mechanical aptitude obtained through practice or exposure to an industrial maintenance department.
2. Effective written and verbal communication expertise.
3. The capability to see, read, distinguish letters and/or symbols. Requires near/far acuity.
4. Must have legible handwriting.
5. Must be detail oriented.
6. Must be able to lgain various hardware, machine parts and other supplies.
7. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
8. Possess good computer expertise with capability to lgain new software applications that apply to Inventory Control.
9. Requires the capability to communicate effectively with others.
10. Work overtime as required to meet customers needs.
11. Basic Educational level background normally acquired through the completion of high school level programs leading to a diploma or equivalent preferred.
