Job Purpose

Working with the LotusWorks team as part of the equipment group, you will be accountable for the upgrade and replacement of existing equipment used in the manufacturing process. Working from planning stage through to achieving production KPI’s on new and upgraded equipment. Generating all significant documentation, including CE marking and validations. continuing support of existing processes in including equipment failure mode reduction on legacy equipment. The function will require a strong; proven track record in similar function.

Responsibilities
   » Project management of equipment upgrade projects and the management of all stakeholders expectations
   » Manage external relationships with technology providers / suppliers
   » Ensure that complete and effective validations are carried out on all processes before transferring to manufacture.
   » Identify and put in place permanent and effective technical / system solutions to problems.
   » Researching solutions to existing process problems
   » Maintain high quality / compliance standards in line with Medical Devices manufacturing requirements
   » Ensure goals and objectives are met and understood by effective communication, building an atmosphere of openness, honesty and flexibility with individuals and within the team environment.
   » Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled
   » Technical support to production Required expertise
   » Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification, preferably with minimum of 7 years’ practice.
   » Strong technical, hands on background and capabilities.
   » Excellent communication, planning and organisational expertise.
   » Motivated to work on own initiative and the capability to make and implement decisions.
   » expertise of ISO and FDA compliance with emphasis on validation.
   » Proven track record in designing and building automated assembly and test equipment ranging from single station to complete automated lines
   » Extremely self-motivated individual with a professional approach who excels equally working autonomously or within a team.
   » Results orientated who thrives in a challenging environment.
   » Excellent communicator with proven leadership abilities abilities.
   » broad practice in the project management and delivery of complex high volume automated production systems from inception to start of production.
   » Excellent communication, planning and organisational expertise.
   » Demonstrated capability to deal with problems with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
   » Excellent working expertise of equipment and process validation
   » broad mechanical design practice (Solidworks) coupled with an capability to work hands on in the electrical / mechanical assembly, PLC / Robotic programming, debug and fine tuning / optimisation of automated systems.
   » CE Marking practice
