The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:
Training agent             &nb sp;            & nbsp;             ;                       REF: 18/158/TO/WEB
Purpose of the Job:  
The Transition agent will deliver the Transition; Let’s Get Ready Service.  The service fully involves young people and their families to make decisions about their life after school.  The Transition agent will use an inter-agency approach to ensure a smooth transition post school into education, employment as well as exploring health & well-being opportunities in their local area.
Hours:           &n bsp;            25 hours per week,
Contract:            ;         Temporary – Maternity Contract
Job location:                     Western Health & Social Care Trust – Southern Sector
income:                        3 point incremental scale starting on £21,693 per annum, pro rata
Essential Criteria:
            &nb sp;          
   » QCF level 5/ Degree or equivalent level in a significant discipline such as Health & Social Care
   » Minimum of 1 paid years’ practice in the direct provision of education, training or support
   » QCF 3 or equivalent in a significant discipline`
   » Minimum of 3 paid years’ practice as above
   » practice of supporting people
   » practice of Building positive relationships with wide variety of stakeholders
   » Proficiency in Information technology expertise, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
   » capability to work independently with good organisational, communication & interpersonal expertise
   » Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment.
This criterion will be waived in the case of a appropriate applicant who has a discapability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise appropriate alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.
Desirable Criteria:

   » Previous practice of interagency working
   » Facilitation and group work expertise
