hardware system level development for drones
board level development
practice working with new technology partners and integrating that technology into products

Work Environment:

Ford Greenfield Labs is an advanced R&D lab focused on advancing mobility for Ford.

This individual will be a part of the drone team, which has 3 1/2 people and is looking to grow.

Appropriate qualifications:

Must have a BS degree engineering preferably mechatronics, aerospace, electrical engineering or something similar.

Must have practice developing flight control hardware at the system and board level for drones.

Also, willing to look at candidates that developed system level hardware for satellites, autonomous vehicles or other aerospace or aviation products

Must be someone that works well within a team environment and have good verbal and written expertise

Candidate will be required to give reports to senior management and present them eloquently and be able to interact with suppliers. May travel 1 - 2 times per year

Performance Expectations:

Performance measured: Ford has a PF process that is located off of behavior and technical aspects. Also, Joe will look at if the person is staying on schedule.
