OVERVIEW

Coordinates and facilitates all functions related to all payroll processing for pay groups as assigned (such as Airport Services, Management, Non-Management, Dispatcher, Reservation, Pilot and Flight Attendant employees). Applies leadership abilities expertise to improve efficiency and accomplish operational and workflow objectives. Accountable for ensuring deliverables are met. Contributing, planning, organizing and processing with 100% accuracy. Ensure all support functions are processed timely and accurately while all audit requirements are met. Work cross functionally within the department and within the company to drive process improvements and automation while staying up to date on all work groups and payroll guidelines. everyday communication with base locations to resolve problems and/or issues, answer questions timely, accurately and effectively. Manage and handle special projects as assigned. capability to work with minimal supervision. Hold self-accountable for work. Support a payroll staff responsible for high volume. Assist with work flow and prioritization to accomplish deadlines. Assist the Payroll Management Team in creating a winning team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and process all payroll functions related to employees while remaining consistent with Federal, State and Local requirements
• Research and provide guidance on issues while working cross functionally within the department and the company
• Plan, develop timelines, address issues and solve problems
• Work closely with high level internal/external contacts in reviewing, compiling and processing various payroll data
• Manage and handle other payroll related projects as assigned

practice
• 2-3 years of payroll practice required
• Previous practice with Oracle / People Soft
• Payroll expertise of multi-state taxes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel

EDUCATION
• High School Diploma/GED required
• College education/degree preferred

OTHER
• This position requires overtime hours located on operational needs and at times when advance notice is not foreseeable
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• prosperous completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
