Senior Manager, Head of AIB Mortgage Products

Title of Function:Senior Manager, Head of AIB Mortgage Products

Job location: AIB Group, Bankcentre, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4

Mortgage Business & Credit Products (MB & CP) is a dynamic and diverse place to work in Retail and Commercial Banking. We are responsible for all of the product and portfolio management and development responsibilities of the asset side of our balance sheet (Mortgages, Personal and Business).

   » Lead the development and implementation of AIB's end to end mortgage business and credit products strategy
   » Maximise our mortgage business across AIB, EBS and Haven through enabling the business and delivering customer focused solutions
   » Work in close partnership with other business areas to ensure AIB develops and maintains a suite of credit products, including Mortgages, aligned to customer lifecycle needs and delivering the right customer results
   » Manage the Credit portfolio, including Mortgages, to ensure appropriate diversification of risk management, risk adjusted returns on capital and well managed growth
   » Bring a future looking innovation lens to our full credit product portfolios

We collaborate with the customer facing teams, Group Marketing and central support areas to deliver the right results for our customers and shareholders and ensure we maintain the balance between risk and compensate, and gain an appropriate return for our shareholders.

The key accountabilities/responsibilities are as follows:
   » Lead the delivery of AIB Mortgage Products development, with responsibility for delivering Regulatory and Product change that meets customer needs and organisation business objectives.
   » Work collaboratively within wider MB&CP teams, in particular with Mortgage Change, along with all key stakeholders to enable the development and delivery of the AIB Mortgage Strategy and Priorities.
   » Design and deliver new innovations in mortgages for our customers across digital, journey, ecosystem and credit automation utilising strong customer and market analysis, insights and business design to meet identified opportunities.
   » Lead inputinto the ROI Mortgages strategy development and planning
   » Collaborating across AIB, identify and analyse developments in the market and regulatory environments, together with changing consumer and competitor behaviours, which impact on the AIB Mortgage Business
   » Drive and deliver on an broad product development roadmap within defined timelines and budgets.
   » Drive a structured and disciplined approach to product integrity & sustainment aligned to AIB change Methodologies and AIB risk and compliance frameworks

This is a senior position with the AIB Mortgage Business & Credit Products team and practice in leading and managing high performing teams and a professional connected third level qualification relative to the function applied for would be an advantage.

Minimum Criteria :
   » Proven practice in managing and delivering complex projects to challenging timelines, displaying the capability to project manage, analyse and deliver a set of agreed objectives.
   » Excellent negotiation and communication expertise and capability to communicate effectively with a proven track record of leading, motivating and developing a team of experts.
   » Proven practice of building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
   » Proven practice in delivering of results and solving for business problems to support the delivery of sustained performance and an excellent knowledge of the commercial needs and strategic objectives of the organisation.
   » practice and knowledge of mortgage products and an knowledge of regulatory environment, internal policies and procedures as they affect the Mortgage Business would be an advantage.

Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if prosperous for the function.
