What you will be doing:
   »
Develop user interface software applied for cross-correlation of data measured at multiple sites and using multiple instrumentation.
   »
Devises appropriate measurement/process equipment and computer controlled interfaces.
   »
Participates in training of the metrology equipment specialists, technicians and operators.
   »
Cooperates with maintenance engineering in maintaining documentation related to metrology equipment such as drawings, manuals, and upgrade documents. Writes process procedures or work instructions or software manuals when applicable.
   »
Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.
   »
Acts as technical consultant to engineering and other functions on problems that impact capcapability, testing, quality and relicapability.
   »
Leads and participates on teams for the development of new equipment, facilities, procedures and processes for the improvement of product quality, relicapability, manufacturcapability, testcapability and reduction of manufacturing cost.
   »
Leads and provides supervision to one or more of the following functions: Test & Measurement Control System, Standards and Correlation, Analytical Lab, Product Design Review, Quality Systems, Contract Review or Competitor Product Benchmarking.
   »
Prepares patent disclosures, papers and articles on advanced technical subjects. Reviews technical publications and participate in technical societies and organizations to include seminars, meetings and courses dictated by need.




What you need:
   »
Over three years' practice in semiconductor metrology with emphasis on characterization of electrical properties of semiconductors required.
   »
Programming Required languages C++, Visual Basic, Delphi required.
   »
Windows 95/NT 4.1 GUI programming, application framework, Windows Object Library required.
   »
Novell Netware 4.1/Windows NT network operating system setup, configuration and administration.
   »
Instrumentation interfacing; RS232, GPIB, A/D, D/A I/O real time programming, testing and debugging under Windows 95/NT, required.
   »
B.S. degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences, or Professional Engineering registration or an equivalent combination of education and/or practice. Requires a minimum of five (5) years in Product Evaluation or related engineering disciplines with senior or lower Project Management practice. (E.g. Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or other related technical function). Additionally, must be proficient with SPC and the application of statistical techniques and be competent with personal computer applications.
