Help Desk Engineer French/English

Expanding client in Limerick are looking to hire a bilingual Helpdesk Engineer to assist with front line support to their clients.

Job tasks

   » Provide exceptional support to Enterprise HelpDesk clients via phone, email, support tickets, chat and community forum interaction.
   » Clearly document all troubleshooting steps and significant interaction details to facilitate a consistent customer support practice.
   » Focus on first contact issue resolution with follow up as needed.
   » Contribute to documentation of client Information technology processes and procedures.
   » Assist in identifying trends in user reported issues and developing solutions for common problems.
   » Contribute to the creation of knowledge base articles for the end user, Information technology partners and HelpDesk staff.
   » Manage and assist in the administration of device management through the JAMF Casper suite.
   » Assist in change management and compatibility testing of configuration changes on new and existing versions of iOS and OS X.
   » Provide best effort support for OS X Virtualization solutions, which may include supporting the Windows operating system.
   » Other tasks as assigned.

What you'll need:
   » Fluent spoken and written English and French (Berlitz Level 6/CEF Level B 1.2)
   » Deep knowledge of Apple hardware and software.
   » Skillful time and task management.
   » Conscientious task ownership and follow-through.
   » practice providing support for Mac OS X and iOS.
   » practice operating and integrating Mac OS X systems in a predominantly Windows environment.
   » True customer focus, with a powerful drive to provide exceptional practices to our internal and external customers.
   » Passion for enriching lives through innovation and technology.
   » knowledge of enterprise architecture and Information technology systems a plus.
   » Excellent organizational expertise, able to track and balance tasks and resources across multiple projects.
   » Strong communication expertise, able to communicate results and requirements to all levels of management.
   » Excellent interpersonal expertise, with a strong focus on team success.
   » capability to thrive working on new support programs, where knowledge resources, processes and structure are still being developed.
   » 24/7 scheduling availcapability (night and weekend availcapability required, including overnight), supporting the AMEC, EMEA and APAC regions.
