We are now inviting candidates for the function of Exchequer Accounts Support Provider & Trainer. This is a great opportunity to work with our Supervalu and Centra Retailers
 

We are now inviting candidates for the function of Exchequer Accounts Support Provider & Trainer. This is a great opportunity to work with our Supervalu and Centra Retailers and enable them to continue to develop and grow their businesses. Key responsibilities of the function include:
   » Training of new/existing users on all the Exchequer modules to enable the Bookkeepers in our Stores produce Management Reports in line with reporting periods in a specific time frame.
   » contact with Cash Office within stores to set-up up-load journals from significant information from the cash balancing reports and OPR weekly Sales reports as applicable to the site requirements.
   » Configure and amend as required MRPI Management reports.
   » Aid the completion of weekly & quarterly stocktake results when necessary with bookkeeping staff in store.
   » Preparation of Period & Year End Trial Balances in conjunction with store back-office staff/external accountants as required.
   » Roll-out of Exchequer up-grades.
   » Provide when appropriate remote assistance to stores to address issues or assist in troubleshooting Exchequer issues as first line of support.
   » Supporting the Exchequer Helpdesk in responding to retailer queries and providing cover during holiday periods for telephone support, also to provide scheduled cover for Exchequer Helpdesk personnel periodically.
   » Adjustment of Retailer OPRs in line with Pro-Clarity
   » Participation in any new Project coming on stream that interacts with Exchequer.
Ad-hoc admin tasks in line with requests from the Exchequer Team Lead
The ideal candidate will have:
   » An accountancy qualification or be part qualified with an ambition to join a fast-paced commercially driven Finance team.
   » practice of working with the Exchequer Finance package or similar is required and practice in a retail environment while not necessary will be of advantage.
   » Strong customer service orientation coupled with excellent administrative, organisational, interpersonal and communication expertise
   » Competency in PC packages including Excel in particular and to an advanced level such as Macros and Pivot Tables.
   » Training practice preferably (Train the Trainer completed)
   » Full driving license and a commitment to weekly travel when required.
