Selection Criteria / Person Specification:
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines.

Principal tasks and The main responsibilities are:
Deploying packages, installing updates, and preparing Windows deployments using OSD
Configuring and managing backup (performing restores, monitoring integrity)
Following procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, secure, and maintain systems
Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading corporate networks and servers.
Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
Support and administer third-party applications
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availcapability, utilization, throughput and latency)
Involvement in setting up site office, including occasional traveling.
Log support calls with third-party vendors
Troubleshooting email delivery
Providing level 2 support for Field Service Engineer / Helpdesk
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
Reporting to Information technology Infrastructure Manager

Key skills
Hands-on practice with UTM Firewalls (FortiGate, Checkpoint) - routing, UTM policies, IPSec VPN setup
Hands-on practice with Cisco devices (mostly switches)
practice maintaining VMware and Hyper-V infrastructures
Fluency in using SCCM for deploying packages, installing updates deploying Windows using OSD
Fluency in configuring and maintaining Windows Server services (DFS, DNS, AD DS, DHCP, NPS, ADFS, Printing)
practice with managed AV solution (ESET ERA)
Knowledge of email flow (SFP, DMARC, NDR troubleshooting)
practice with Cloud solutions - Office 365 (primarily Exchange Online), Azure, AWS
practice with enterprise class backup solutions (CommVault Simpana v10 or newer)
practice with Lync/Skype for Business
practice with MS SQL Server
Knowledge of Email Archiving solutions (Veritas)
Good knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android, Windows)
Working knowledge of MDM platforms (AirWatch, MobileIron, InTune)
Previous practice with using and troubleshooting Citrix applications.
Administration of monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios etc)

capability to deal with problem within Microsoft operating system environment
Interested in further education, training and development
Full Driving Licence
Certification (desired)
CCNA or CCNP
MCSA or MCSE (2008R2 or newer)
VMware Certified Professional
Citrix CCA
CheckPoint or Fortinet Certs
capability to prioritise, excellent organisation and administrative capability
knowledge of construction documentation an advantage
5 + years'practice in a similar functionExcellent communication skills
capability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
