As our new Global Consumer Solutions Vendor Manager your function is central to supporting the Global Consumer Solutions (GCS) business and managing our vendor to deliver prosperous global consumer services across the UK Consumer base.
 

As our new GCS Vendor Manager your function is central to supporting the Global Consumer Solutions (GCS) business and managing our vendor to deliver prosperous global consumer services across the UK Consumer base.

The primary responsibility of the GCS Vendor Manager is to ensure we provide a high-quality service to our consumers, partners and resellers and consistently deliver against KPIs and contractual SLAs.

As part of the International Operations Team you will play a key function in helping to shape and deliver the Global Consumer Solutions Operation business objectives to ensure that we continuously improve and enhance our delivery capabilities across the globe.

You will be expected to provide SME input to support the partner & reseller delivery process into operations, manage the operational contractual SLA negotiations with the vendors and ensure that the commercials are reflective of the costs to deliver the service levels defined.

You will ensure that our vendors are delivering a seamless service, continuously improving our processes and controls and identifying areas where we can enhance our processes to support the business objectives.

Key responsibilities of the GCS Vendor Manager include:
   » Responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement for better efficiency and quality whilst driving for above target revenue
   » Ensure high performance and cost savings through outsourcing project leadership abilities and dedicated vendor governance disciplines.
   » Point of liaison with GSO applying GSO best practices into the UK
   » Develop outsourcing solutions and perform pricing and solution analysis for tactical outsourcing opportunity evaluations
   » Establishing vendor management framework including delivery center set-up, SLA located performance management, and program managing transition
   » Conduct research connected with all aspects of outsourcing (e.g., tactical opportunity evaluation, strategy development, initiative execution
   » Contractual and pricing negotiations to obtain best possible pricing results
   » Understands and interprets stakeholder requirements and makes recommendations that best support their strategies
   » Understands and demonstrates a range of leadership abilities and management styles that help create a high performing culture.
   » Creates an environment where sufficient importance is attributed to Learning and Development.

Required practice for the GCS Vendor Manager:
   » Over 5 years of vendor management practice, managing multimillion supplier contracts
   » Strong stakeholder and client management practice
   » Proven operational management practice within the Customer Services arena
   » Over 5 years proven practice at driving sales over target through a contact centre
   » Proven capability to operate independently and take initiative
   » Highly effective influencing, negotiation and persuasion expertise at senior levels
   » Strong commercial acumen
   » Strong written and oral communication expertise and interpersonal expertise
   » Operational and strategic focus with the capability to project manage

Desired practice for the GCS Vendor Manager:
   » practice in contact centre technologies
   » Practical use of Salesforce, RightNow technologies, Siebel and Avaya
   » Demonstrable success in coaching and developing a highly skilled team and in operating a high performance culture.
