We are presently recruiting for various full time and part time contracts, direct support workers functions in residential, day services and training centres located in North Dublin and in South Dublin.

St. Michael's House is a community located organisation committed to providing a quality person centred service and high standard of living to people with an intellectual discapability in the greater Dublin area. St. Michael's House is committed to providing individualised supports to people so that they can enjoy practices, opportunities and lifestyles similar to their peers.
We are presently recruiting for various full time and part time fixed term three year direct support workers functions in residential, day services and training centres located in North Dublin and in South Dublin.
The job involves supporting people with an Intellectual discapability to engage in an individualised community located programme.
This position will provideexciting opportunities for the prosperous candidate to develop their careerby providing personal support services for people with intellectual disabilities. The core values of this service will be person centeredness, community inclusion and active participation with a strong emphasis on quality.
The prosperous Direct Support Worker candidate must have the following:
Qualifications required:
   »
Minimum FETAC level 5 in a caring principal
Essential practice Required:
   »
Have a minimum of1 year practice working in the area of Intellectual Discapability.
   »
Possess a strong commitment to the provision of a quality individualized service
   »
Have practice of promoting community inclusion and active participation
   »
Have excellent communication expertise and be committed to working as part of a team
   »
practice of supporting people in training, personal development, community and leisure activities.
   »
Have a full clean drivers license
   »
Have practice Supporting Individuals in the area of supported employment
