Knowledge Management, E-Learning & Instructional Design Specialist (FTC)

Position Summary:

As Knowledge Management, E Learning & Instructional Design Specialist at Equifax, you will be responsible for executing on Equifax GCS (Global Consumer Solutions) knowledge management strategy and support GCS in harnessing, developing, sharing and effectively using organizational data, learning and knowledge to improve organization-wide activities, current practice and future developments. The function operates within the UK GCS (Global Consumer Solutions) Transformation project team and its primary aim is to support the transformation of the GCS platforms, processes and tools.

The Knowledge Management, E Learning & Instructional Design Specialist is expected to visibly demonstrate our values through being: ambitious, respectful and fearless across your work. You must be an effective communicator with great time management and writing skills who is well-versed in the general operation of the knowledgebase. This individual must combine training and technical knowledge to effectively leverage the knowledgebase content and functionality to increase agent knowledge, which will ultimately result in an improved consumer practice.

N.B. This is an FTC (fixed-term contract) position for 2018.

Responsibilities of the Knowledge Management, E Learning & Instructional Design Specialist include:
   » Support the reengineering of all GCS (Global Consumer Solutions) processes in line with the workflows built in the new platforms
   » Update existing curriculum and move to digital knowledge base within new tools
   » Foster a more self-service environment for both employees and customers through changes to the knowledge base
   » Coordinate as needed with Operations, Product Management, Implementation and Training to ensure updated and consistent messaging/content for all internal and external audiences
   » Create and manage users, profiles, functions and permission sets in new tools
   » Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor usage and user feedback
   » Manage releases by proactively adding and updating knowledge base articles for new features and engaging training to ensure user readiness.
   » Review feedback from employees and customers to inform changes in functionality and content and educate customers and employees on effective use of the knowledge base
   » Assure confidentiality and security of Equifax information
   » Act as a moderator on forums
   » Create training and user documentation, and maintain continuing documentation processes as business needs evolve or features are added

Required Skills of theKnowledge Management, E Learning & Instructional Design Specialist:
   » practice in implementation of an E learning platform
   » 2+ years' practice in Adult learning and instructional design knowledge required to inform and drive knowledgebase functionality
   » capability to develop knowledge management systems and in building organizational learning
   » skills in deriving insight and using knowledge from data collected and analyzed in decision making, planning, cross organizational and external activities
   » capability to effectively use and develop CRM systems
   » knowledge of how-to visualize/present data and learning for different uses and audiences
   » Analytical with some practice in knowledge management and organizational learning
   » practice in data capture and analysis, in evaluating and assessing organizational impact and in using learning and evidence from data to improve organizational capacity and practice, to inform policy development, business planning, service delivery and future developments
   » Evidence of being able to build effective and sustainable relationships internally and externally
   » capability to develop prioritize and manage work effectively
   » Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
   » Knowledge of SharePoint, MS Project and MS Visio

Preferred Skills of the Knowledge Management, E Learning & Instructional Design Specialist:
   » Knowledge of project management methodology and principles
   » Any of the following certifications:
   » Certification in the build of e-learning content
   » Professional Development Scheme (PDS)
   » Administrator Certification
   » Project Management Certification (PMP)
