Procurement Manager (Full Time Position)

The company is now looking to fill the key position of Procurement Manager in order to deliver on the purchasing strategy for the business, and to introduce and maintain best in class purchasing processes.

Listing description
The prosperous candidate will be responsible for the management of all procurement within the organisation, the function will also have direct responsibility in the purchase of bulk raw materials, packaging, consumables and logistics.
Supplier & Contract Management
   » Identify/Evaluate new suppliers and contractors, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate
   » Engage and negotiate with suppliers to ensure all purchases are fit for purpose, bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time and to the right quality
   » Manage and control the company group external suppliers and contractors
   » Ensure all contractual documentation is in place for each supplier
   » Manage annual reviews with key suppliers and contractors to ensure that spending is aligned with contractual obligations and service level agreements
Management of Tender Process
   » Continually develop and maintain compliance with the company Purchasing Policy
   » Collaborate with business units to develop appropriate tender documentation in line with purchasing policy
   » Introduce Tendering Disciplines to continually improve purchasing methods and drive efficiencies
   » Administer the bidding process and the awarding of contracts.
   » Administration of SAP to ensure up to date and agreed pricing contained within for commodity and contracts
Analysis & Reporting
   » Record, segment and report on total organisational purchasing spend
   » Maintain purchasing information to ensure the availcapability of documentation and compliance with established policies
   » Collect market intelligence which will assist in strategic decision making
   » Minimum 5 years' practice as a Procurement Manager or in a similar function
   » practice in purchasing raw materials and logistics
   » Proven history of cost management to maximise financial performance

   » Purchasing practice in a number of areas such as raw material, logistics and utilities
   » expertise of commodity markets
   » Procurement & Bidding Processes
   » Excellent communication and negotiation skills
