Job Description


The main responsibilities are: Kforce has a client seeking a Dispatch Technician in Boise, Idaho (ID). This is a driving position - (reimbursed accordingly).

Position Summary:
   » Laptop - Desktop Break/Fix technician (DISPATCH)
   » Printer Break/Fix technician (DISPATCH)
   » POS Break/Fix technician (DISPATCH)

The main responsibilities are:
   » Responsible for performing on-site servicing and repair of major OEM laptops, desktops, POS, and printers
   » Provides technical support in activities connected with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems; Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up
   » Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
   » Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
   » Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
   » Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
   » Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs

Job Requirements


Requirements:
   » May require an Associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of practice in the field or in a related area
   » CompTIA A+ Preferred; if candidate does not have A+, must have practice that demonstrates knowledge of all A+ concepts and be able to achieve A+ within 90 Days
   » Laptop/Desktop Break-Fix practice
   » Printer Break-Fix practice (Very important!)
   » Deskside Customer Service Support practice
   » Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
   » Reliable Transportation

   » Major OEM Printer Warranty Certifications
   » Major OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications
   » Xerox Certification/TCN number
   » Server Break-Fix practice
   » CompTIA Server +
