Academic & Student Support AdministratorCollege of Science, Engineering & Food SciencePermanent Whole Time Post
 

The College of Science, Engineering and Food Science is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and practiced Administrator. The Administrator will have responsibility for management and delivery of a wide variety of student support services, including recruitment and outreach, academic administration and other administrative tasks within the College as determined by the College Manager. The specific tasks include the academic planning, coordination and delivery of outreach and recruitment activities, and administration, in particular, for Graduate School activities within the College. The post holder will interact with other members of the College Office team and will support a wide variety of administrative and operational activities of the College.
The prosperous candidate will be of a third level graduate calibre and should have previous administrative practice in a third level education environment. S/he will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and Information technology expertise and the capability to work both independently and as a member of a team. S/he should demonstrate energy, initiative and enthusiasm, be flexible, and have the capcapability of adapting to a variety of tasks and demands. practice of academic administration and the capability to interact with staff at all levels within an academic setting, as well as other stakeholders, is required.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V income Scale: €41,262 - €50,848 (Scale B) / €39,291 - €48,398 (Scale A). In all instances the prosperous appointment will be at the first point of the scale.
