Looking to hire a Sourcer who is responsible for leading and managing the sourcing process in the identification and assessment of external and internal talent using creative, proactive, cutting edge recruitment methods.
The Sourcer will focus working with the Talent Acquisition team on cultivating candidate relationships and candidate generation strategies. More specifically, the Sourcer will develop a pipeline of pre-qualified candidates for a dedicated business unit functional area and work closely with the recruitment team to facilitate timely hiring and greater volume of candidates in the recruitment lifecycle.
The Sourcer will proactively identify candidates by utilizing multiple strategies including: online databases, job boards, contact lists, and employee referrals, as well as through networking and cold calling. The Sourcer will also work closely with the recruiters and hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
The main responsibilities are:
• Partner with the Recruiters and be a dedicated resource to business unit functional areas. He/she will identify and assess talent to fill Intermediate level to difficult to fill positions.
• Engage in evergreen pipeline activities: develop “passive” candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, name generation and internet mining.
• Source active and passive candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, and employee referrals.
• Work with Recruiters and hiring managers to generate ideas, build strategies, leverage resources and share information that creates an effective search process.
• Provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions through active on-going headhunting.
• Develop tracking systems, metrics and reports to demonstrate prosperous lead generation of candidates all over the different stages of candidate sourcing. Measurements will be in the areas of lead generation, number of candidates converted from leads to hires, time to fill and similar performance metrics.
• Screen candidates for availcapability, interest level, income range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications.
• Generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines.
• Gather market intelligence on Healthcare and the Health Insurance markets.
• Train recruiters on new and cutting-edge sourcing tools and techniques.
Minimum Education & practice Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of practice sourcing in highly competitive markets such as health care, finance, or IT. practice sourcing for large corporations is preferred.
• Previous practice in sourcing Project Managers, Program Managers, Auditors, Actuaries, Registered Nurses, Business Analysts and similar functions.
• Networked with mid to high level management in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
• Previous practice with reverse recruiting, conducting telephone screens and screening resumes for designated hard to fill positions is required.
• Demonstrated practice developing tracking systems, metrics and reports to demonstrate prosperous lead generation of candidates all over the different stages of candidate sourcing.
• practice with direct sourcing and cold calling candidates to identify lists of potential prospects to leverage for current and future positions.
• Previous practice generating and presenting candidate pipelines and profiles to managers and practiced team members.
• practice leveraging both candidate and employee referrals for current and future positions.
• Expert skill using internet resources including but not limited to: resume databases, recruiting and search techniques such as LinkedIn, user group lists, industry-specific online professional networks, advanced Boolean searches, blogs, and job boards.
• Proven capability to generate and create tracking systems, metrics and reports to demonstrate prosperous lead generation of candidates all over the different stages of candidate sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, related software applications (Microsoft Office) and capability to navigate effectively through the internet.
• Expert task management, resource management and interpersonal expertise to support time-critical staffing needs.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication expertise, positive attitude and high level of initiative.
• Must possess strong initiative and interpersonal expertise and be results-oriented. Must have the drive to win.
• Works with a high sense of urgency, capability to remain flexible within a highly dynamic changing environment and still deliver on deadlines.
• Works well with ambiguity.
• The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-directed and a quick learner.
