Job Offer: Blanchardstown Area Partnership: Invitation to Tender:

Blanchardstown Area Partnership (BAP) is a local development company working across Fingal. We receive our funding from the Government and the Partnership is responsible for a range of programmes to meet the needs of individuals, families and community groups in the area. The key programmes delivered in Fingal are the Local and Community Development Programme, and the Local Employment Service (Joblink) and Tús. In 2015 we were awarded the contract to deliver the Social Inclusion and Community Ativation Programme (SICAP) across the county of Fingal.
BAP are seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals to carry out research and evaluation for Tobacco Free Campus's across the County of Fingal.

The researcher will need to:

   » Review and adapt guides, manuals and toolkits to create a guidance document/programme for voluntary boards in community and voluntary setting who wish to create a Tobacco Free culture within their centres.
   » Outline a process for other groups to follow.
   » Access how activities fit in under the Healthy Ireland Framework and the Tobacco Free Ireland Report with Tobacco free policy initiatives.
   » Look at the Exhale Programme for guidance.
   » Use other available resources on how to implement a Tobacco Free Campus policy.
   » Develop a guide/template to help community groups to write a tobacco Free Policy for their significant centres.
   » Measure the impact and results, what went well and what didn't work and how that can be defined and measured what are valid measurements, what standards to we evaluate against what is deemed prosperous.
   » Record the process and what happened on the group during this initiative and assess those actions against a recognised standard.
   » From the process compile recommendations that will direct future work in the Tobacco Free Campus initiative.
Interested parties should submit evidence of their capability to carry out this piece of work and the costs connected.
