CPL are partnering with a leading Galway located Financial Services institution who are looking to hire a bodily injury claims handler. You will be part of a 100 person strong team, given the chance to develop and progress your career in claims and other functions down the line if desired.
   » Investigating their claim and agreeing a fair and speedy settlement within policy and legal licapability.
   » Taking ownership and deal with the customer demand as if Information technology were your own
   » Having a clear strategy that will get the best & fairest settlement for all parties.
   » Building your relationships through the use of telephone contact to achieve your settlement goals.
   » Actively identify the right claims to settle at the right time and in a timely fashion
   » Demonstrate outstanding and consistent approach to managing your portfolio of work ensuring early decision making and that all settlement opportunities are explored all over the lifecycle of a claim
   » Negotiate claims settlements for complex, non-complex injury and damage claims.
   » Deal with pre-Injury Board claims up to litigated claims ensuring each has a clear strategy
   » Ensure that your portfolio of files are adequately reserved at all times by adhering to the reserving guidelines
   » Identify fraudulent cases by gathering & analysing all the critical data and contact with our Fraud Teams
   » Identify any serious injury cases and refer them immediately for review
   » Ensure compliance with the CPC, DPA and all significant legislation at all times
   » Have capability to balance the customers’ needs against treating the company cheque book as if Information technology were your own
   » Build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, in a professional and approachable manner
   » The prosperous candidate will have the capability to make sound judgments, understand and balance the needs of the customer as well as the needs of the company.
   » APA/CIP Qualification 
   » Proven practice in Motor Damage and Injury Claims Handling.
   » practice in financial services working environment
   » capability to manage complex situations
   » Proven negotiation expertise with practice in settlement of complex & noncomplex motor injury claims
   » Aptitude to make real time decisions located on changing information
   » Strong Relationship building expertise
   » Commitment to the customer environment
   » this function is within the scope of the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code.
