Job Description

The SAP Training Lead will be responsible for the overall execution of training activities across the SAP S/4, IBP (Integrated Business Planning), and HANA Analytics data warehouse applications. Processes in scope include: Contract to Cash (C2C), Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (R2R), Planning to Schedule (P2S), Plant Maintenance, Schedule to Ship (Manufacturing - S2S), Design to Deploy (D2D.
The SAP Training Lead will lead a team of consultants in the effort to build and deploy the training curriculum for SAP including: confirmation of the overall training strategy, developing delivery strategy, and providing leadership abilities for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of SAP training solutions and materials.

PRIMARY tasks:
   » Responsible for the training activities for SAP implementation project (all releases) and for the timely completion of training objectives
   » Establish release-specific training requirements and determine training scope
   » Coordinate and validate training activities with process teams and SMEs
   » Use SAP Workforce Performance Builder (Enable Now) in developing, delivering, and updating Business Process Materials and User Manuals
   » On-time execution of multi-year training project plan
   » Collaborate with consulting team on all areas of course development (materials, technology, and reviews)
   » Coordinate with functional department and site leaders on the preparation of training facilities, registration of end-users for training, and tracking of end user training completion
   » Manage the roll out of software training modules ensuring a comprehensive end-user practice
   » Develop and evaluate training strategies and plans for appliccapability to targeted users
   » Modify training documentation and create other materials for training and communications
   » Consult with stakeholders on effective learning approaches
   » Determine alternative learning platforms in addition to Instructor Led Training
   » Work with outside vendors who support customized training solutions
   » Collaborate with the Communications Lead to advance end user education on people, process, and technology changes that occur with information system implementations
   » Research, design, and develop job aids, modules and e-learning solutions
   » Evaluate and develop processes and systems that measure training effectiveness
   » Participate in recruiting, and lead the development of Subject Matter Experts for training delivery
   » Use Learning Management Systems to ensure all required trainees are registered and scheduled for training and their attendance is tracked

   » Bachelors' degree, 4-8 years of practice in training and development
   » practice working in a Corporate Information technology environment, knowledge basic information systems terminology, concepts, and practices
   » Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
   » Communicate regularly with management regarding the status of current initiatives, obtaining guidance and approval as required
   » Works independently with guidance on only the most complex tasks
   » Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage competing priorities
   » Knowledge of SAP or desire to lgain SAP for training success
   » Working knowledge of the SAP Enable Now module functionality and templates, used for building end user help materials, and as a repository for training documentation
   » practice with documentation within a Learning Management System (e.g. Cornerstone)
   » skills in Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint and Word. Solid knowledge of course
development software, such as Captivate, Articulate or other eLearning authoring tools
   » capability to work in a fast-paced environment
   » capability to travel approximately 10-15%
