Job Description

We are currently looking to hire for the following function Compliance Executive Generalist
Special expertise/Personal Attributes:
1. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years compliance practice in financial services.
2. Exposure to risk management.
3. In depth expertise of Central Bank, EU and Data protection regulation, legislation and guidance.  
4. Strong written and verbal communication expertise.
5. Excellent administration expertise with a good working expertise of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Insurance Systems.
6. Excellent organisation and time management expertise with the capability to priorities workload.
7. capability to work across all organisation functions and levels.
8. capability to work on own initiative.
9. Process driven.
10. Strong working expertise of insurance regulation including but not limited to the:
          Consumer Protection Code, Distance Marketing Directive, Renewal of Insurance regulations and Data Protection Legislation.
Competencies Required
1.Must be LCOI qualified
2.QFA an advantage 
Main Tasks:
1. Provide support to Compliance Manager and team in delivering the AA Compliance Plan.
2. Contribute to the development and maintenance of AA Ireland’s compliance policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct.
3. Ensure that compliance issues are directed to the right area for investigation and resolution, and supervise root cause analysis of same.
4. Manage regulatory errors from notification through to resolution and root cause identification, including communication with the CBI as appropriate.
5. Identify and escalate key compliance failures as a result of investigations.
6. Support compliant sales and customer service by ensuring that necessary compliance issues are addressed.
7. Management of data protection processes including access request and escalation of breaches.
8. Management of insurer audits, from notification through to delivery of recommendations.
9. Act as Compliance lead on business projects.
10. Complete ad-hoc reviews of processes from a Compliance and Consumer perspective.
11. Provide Compliance guidance and sign off of marketing material, product material and training material within agreed timeframes.

1. Contribute to prosperous delivery of AA Ireland’s compliance plan.
2. Management of all significant processes within regulatory time frames.
3. Develop and maintain open relationships with other areas of the business.
4. Continuous improvement through identification of issues, and recommendations to improve same.
5. Contribute to compliance training and education of AAI staff.
6. Supporting the tasks of the Compliance Manager and Team.
