An excellent opportunity has arisen for a permanent Calibration/Service/Instrumentation Engineer with one of Ireland's leading Instrumentation suppliers and service providers. Information technology will include site located and field service work.
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Calibration/Service/Instrumentation Technician/Engineer working for one of Ireland's leading Instrumentation suppliers and service providers.
You will be joining our highly practiced service team providing professional services (Calibration/Validation/Service) both in-house and field located all over the country. The client base is broad and covers every key sector of Irish Industry from Life Science to Food to Power and Energy. As a result the work is varied and interesting covering many different applications and processes. This is a permanent position with opportunities for further promotion within an expanding company.
The main responsibilities are:
» Carryout scheduled Calibration, Validation and Service works both on-site and in-house
» Support and contact with the Service and Sales teams
» Technical Support for products
» General connected service department admin tasks (service reports, maintain computerised calibration management system, quality standards, etc.
» Communicate effectively with customers and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
» Work well on own initiative and as part of a team when required.
» candidates must have an Instrumentation/Calibration qualification (either time served, graduate or equivalent)
» Note: Further opportunities exist within the company for less practiced and/or newly qualified technicians, apprentices.
» Full product training will be provided for the significant product ranges.
» Strong expertise of Calibration methods & procedures. capability to calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, humidity, level, analytical, etc.
» A high level of Information technology expertise
» Flexibility as some work will be in-house and some site located.
» Be a team player with a friendly and outgoing disposition.
» Be a punctual, motivated and organised self-starter who is enthusiastic and conscientious about completing work on time and to a high standard.
» Demonstrate a positive approach to work and be able to work well unsupervised on own initiative and as part of a team.
» Full clean driving licence.
