The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for the performance of the existing Partnership portfolio while developing new Partnership agreements.

We are now seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager . The function reports to the CEO, Saongroup Europe.
The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for the performance of the existing Partnership portfolio while developing new Partnership agreements. You will be responsible for finding new ways to deliver value to our partners, capitalising on growth opportunities, and helping to retain and expand our key partners in a highly competitive market.
You will be joining an practiced and dynamic team at the forefront of applying technology to the world of online recruitment, working in an international and multicultural environment.
   » Agree and implement the presentation of Saongroup recruitment listings on publisher/industry websites with high levels of traffic from Ireland
   » Identify, create, lead, negotiate and implement effective business development activities that drive partnership agreements across the three Saongroup Ireland job board businesses - and
   » Build on the existing portfolio of prosperous strategic partnerships such as Independent News & Media, RTÉ, Bauer Media and Irish News.
   » Project manage the on boarding process of new partners, working cross functionally with our internal teams such as Product Management, Marketing and IT.
   » Work with the technical team to determine technical solutions for our partners (including feeds, job widgets and powered by iframes).
   » Negotiation of new and existing partnership contracts at C-level.
   » Develop an agreed partnership plan with each partner specifying objectives, deliverables and activities to ensure business objectives are achieved.
   » Active relationship management with existing partners.
   » Represent Saongroup at related industry events.
   » Recommending new channels to build long term partnership success.
   » Proactively resolve business and technical issues with our partners. Essential expertise / practice:
   » Third level Degree or equivalent practical practice.
   » Excellent track record of managing the full negotiation cycle - from identifying leads to approaching prospective partners to delivering a prosperous partnership
   » A proven capability to develop, implement & execute media plans
   » Significant business development, channel or alliance management practice.
   » Previous practice in program/partnership or channel management in an online company would be an advantage. Person Specification
   » Proven capability in building partnerships, business development and account management, including managing complex processes and negotiations from beginning to end, preferably in the online/technology space.
   » Client focused, with a proven track record of success
   » Entrepreneurial spirit with an capability to work on his/her own initiative.
   » Exceptional interpersonal expertise, strong capability to work in high-pressure situations, and excellent business acumen.
   » Excellent communicator with capability to clearly articulate strategy and report on progress.
